              Obituary

Jean Brenor Medard was born on October 15 in the community of Bergeot, located on the southern side of Haiti, to parents Luckner Medard and Bertili Amazan. He grew up alongside his siblings sister Roselor, brother Jean Claude, and his late sister Mimose.

After completing his education, Jean worked for many years in Sangamo and Léon Dessalines in the city of Les Cayes.

In December 1981, he immigrated to the United States, where he met the love of his life, Nicole Marlene St. Fleur, to whom he affectionately gave the nickname “Ti Coute.” They were married for 41 years and together raised three sons: Joselito, Fidelito, and Bernard.

Jean Brenor Medard worked for several years in the Garment Center in Manhattan before later transferring to Atlantic Express in Brooklyn, New York.

In 2015 Jean Brenor Medard fell ill and throughout his illness, he gave his life to Christ, got baptised at Goshen SDA church in Brooklyn and made 3ABN his favourite channel for comfort and strength to endure his pain and suffering.

After a long and courageous battle with illness, Jean passed away on June 17.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nicole-Marlene; his son Bernard; his adopted sons Joselito and Fidelito; his grandchildren Kandre, Liana, and Serenity; his sister Roselor; his brother Jean Claude; his sisters-in-law Missole and Fabiola; his brother-in-law Winchel; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Jean Brenor Medard will be remembered for his strength, devotion to family, his work ethics and enduring love.
