Herna Bradshaw
Herna Gwendolyn "Metz" Bradshaw was born in Portland, Jamaica West Indies November 22nd 1915. She moved to Queens, NY in 1977 to live with family in Springfield Gardens, and relocated in 2008 to North Carolina to live with her beloved daughter and granddaughter.
Herna was a very giving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and was always active in her life. She worked as a nurses assistant until retiring at age 70, and continued on with helping her community by volunteering at the Jamaica Senior Center in Queens, NY as well as the Salvation Army and at the Wake Senior Center, crocheting blankets for WakeMed Children's Hospital.
Herna lived a good life and was loved by all friends and family, and just anyone who met her.
