Dahlia Alethea Carpenter

Dahlia Alethea Carpenter was born in Portland, Jamaica West Indies August 24^th 1934. She moved to Springfield Garden, Queens, NY in 1975 to find a better future with her husband William John Carpenter and their three children Maxine, Robert and Neville. In 2008 relocated to Wake Forest, NC to be closer with her daughter Maxine.

Dahlia worked at Brunswick Hospital in Amityville, NY for 30 years with Geriatric patients before retiring as a nurse’s assistant.

Dahlia was a caring, loving mother, wife and grandmother to her grandchildren Christina and William.

She left behind her daughter in law Elizabeth Carpenter,  two remaining children Maxine, Neville and her grandchildren Christina and William.
