So sorry to hear of John’s passing. He loved my dad, George Rennison and I remember hanging out at Kilanes when John bartended. A great guy.
John and I grew up next door to each other. We were pretty close for many years but then unfortunately we lost contact with one another. Several years ago we reconnected though. I loved our chats, either on the phone or by messenger, reminiscing about our childhood or catching up on lost time. I will miss him dearly.
Shocked and saddened to learn of John’s passing. He was our friend for many years and will be missed. Sending love to Patrick and Will.

So very sorry to hear of John’s passing. He played on our soccer team with the rose dale rockets, was a very good friend of Kevin’s and Bill Quinn.

I am saddened to hear about my childhood friend. We had lost contact when I moved many years ago but reconnected at a gathering and kept in touch thereafter. We shared so many memories and made new ones. John was a wonderful guy and will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family.
Very sad to learn of John’s passing. We were neighbors as kids, and I seem to remember him mostly on his bike, or trike. Last year we exchanged comments on the St. Clare’s FB site, a nice connection.

There are too many good memories to choose from, to mention one or two makes it too hard for me to choose. John and I have diplomas and a degree from the same elementary, high school and university. Rest well my friend. I’d want to express my sincerest condolences to the Flatley family, please know that John is remembered and thought of fondly in many places.
